Southcote Clinic is now using Blinx Digital Front Door as a new online consultation service.
What is Blinx and what has happened to Patchs?
We have decided to transition to using Blinx to help streamline and improve patient access to GP services which will also enhance efficiency behind the scenes. It works in a similar way to Patchs in that you submit a request to the practice and we will respond.
- User friendly:no more logins, instead you will use your NHS number and date of birth to submit a consultation
- Tailored questions:we can now tailor forms to ask the questions we need to ask in consultation requests
- Streamline:everything in one place
NHS Number
To use the new platform you will no longer need to use log in details, but instead will need your NHS number.
What if I don’t know my NHS number?
Your NHS number can be found on your paper prescriptions, hospital letters or in the NHS app. If you don’t have any of these things there is a link on the Blinx page which can guide you to the NHS Number finder. www.nhs.uk/find-nhs-number
This is an NHS service which will then send you an SMS or email with your NHS Number.
